چکیده
Nonscattering optical anapole condition is corresponding to the excitation of radiationless field distributions in open resonators, which offers new degrees freedom for tailoring light-matter interaction. Conventional mechanisms achieving such a relies on sophisticated manipulation electromagnetic multipolar moments all orders guarantee superpositions suppressed moment strengths at same wavelength. In contrast, here we report hidden resonant state Si nanoparticle utilizing tightly focused radially polarized (RP) beam. The coexistence magnetic and wavelength further enables triggering by azimuthally (AP) beam whose electric multipole coefficient could be zero. As result, high contrast inter-transition between ideal scattering can achieved experimentally visible spectrum. proposed mechanism general realized different types nanostructures. Our results showcase that unique combination structured light Mie resonances provide interaction, might shed functional meta-optics.

We report on a new, single-step and scalable method to fabricate highly ordered, multi-directional and complex surface structures that mimic the unique morphological features of certain species found in nature. Biomimetic surface structuring was realized by exploiting the unique and versatile angular profile and the electric field symmetry of cylindrical vector (CV) femtosecond (fs) laser beams...

متن کاملDark modes and Fano resonances in plasmonic clusters excited by cylindrical vector beams.
Control of the polarization distribution of light allows tailoring the electromagnetic response of plasmonic particles. By rigorously extending the generalized multiparticle Mie theory, we show that focused cylindrical vector beams (CVB) can be used to efficiently excite dark plasmon modes in nanoparticle clusters. In addition to the small radiative damping and large field enhancement associate...
متن کاملCylindrical vector beams for rapid polarization-dependent measurements in atomic systems.
We demonstrate the use of cylindrical vector beams - beams with spatially varying polarization - for detecting and preparing the spin of a warm rubidium vapor in a spatially dependent manner. We show that a modified probe vector beam can serve as an atomic spin analyzer for an optically pumped medium, which spatially modulates absorption of the beam. We also demonstrate space-variant atomic spi...
